Project Management and Delivery |
We bring many years experience in the fields of project management, project delivery and change management.
With strong ethical values, our staff, offer advice, direction and support to projects.
The senior consultants come from various backgrounds including, manufacturing, logistics, financial services, retail and local government, providing you with the skills necessary to ensure that a project succeeds.
Our staff look at the “Total Picture” and will also advise on matters peripheral to the main project in hand but equally important such as quality, “Health and Safety”, ISO 9000 compliance, Data Protection, and Freedom of Information.
Our staff also embrace the concepts of a “We Project” where all involved “own” the project and that both internal and external staff are working in harmony and not as “Us” and “Them”.
Teamwork
We foster the belief in “We Projects” as Project delivery is about teamwork and we believe the team is all – and actively encourage our clients to adhere to this principle. It works! All involved take ownership and all share in its success at the “Go-Live”. |
Goal Management |
Ensure that all those involved in a project know what is to be done, by whom and when.
Take great care to ensure that budgets are adhered to and insist on a full change request management procedure being built into the project guidelines, so making sure that no overspend is made nor any significant deviation from the project aims without the correct authorised sign offs.
The establishmentment of a “Project Room” has provided all with a focal point and a centre for discussion and work away from “normal” working routines. This has ensured focus and concentration on the project and its tasks. |
Tools, methods used |
Tried and tested tools such as a RACI index – this allocates who is to be Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed on tasks, reports etc within a project
The preferred choice of Methodology is PRINCEII, as it forces the capture and recording of the basic information needed to correctly direct and manage the project.
Proactive approach and drive our projects using Risk Logs and Issue Databases, all risks and issues no matter how apparently small or insignificant are noted with comments, solutions, plans etc.
This may appear to be a sledgehammer to crack a small nut but it shows all involved that their problems concerns and worries are being acknowledged and tracked within the project.
These logs are open to all involved within the project, thus ensuring that when a risk becomes a fact, then no one is taken by surprise. |
